The mento masters are still on tour and if you’re in Dublin, Ireland brace yourself. The Jolly Boys are coming your way in just two days! Catch them on the 3rd of September at the eclectic Electric Picnic arts-and-music festival at 4pm.

The revelry is already under way in the streets of West London as the Notting Hill Carnival kicks off its first day of celebration today and The Jolly Boys are there for all the fanfare!

The carnival, which got started at around 9:00 am (BST) has so far seen scores of colourful floats on show down the route, featuring more than 40 static sound systems and while the sounds of the Caribbean permeate the air the food stalls are also providing a taste of the West Indies.

With an anticipated twenty miles of vibrant colourful costumes surrounding over 40 static sound systems, hundreds of Caribbean food stalls, over 40,000 volunteers and over 1 million Notting Hill carnival revellers, The Jolly Boys and their smooth, rhythmic modern mento beats will be sure to sway the crowds while adding that bit of nostalgia and Jamaican pizzazz to a setting that almost seems destined that they should be there.
